A brief note to readers: I’m on the flight back to San Francisco. I want to thank everyone for the supportive messages. The testimony experience was new and interesting. Many of the House Democrats used the hearing to talk about the upcoming election. That was disappointing but not entirely surprising. I’m glad I had the opportunity to discuss my work and make the case that this should not be a partisan issue. The growing government censorship apparatus that has suppressed conservatives on social media has and will be used against the left.
You did a great job. I am baffled by the committee democrats. Their utter disinterest in wrestling with the evidence of government censorship baffles me. And their obsession with Trump is unhinged.

What is so damned frustrating is that Lee can go through the evidence that he's found and yet, the Democrats were stuck on repeating "There is no evidence! This is a witch hunt, because Donald Trumpppp!"

Thank you for stepping up, Lee. Your testimony was excellent. It was telling and disheartening that the Democrats chose to create a distraction but the testimony that you, Greg, and Katelynn gave rose well above the antics.
The wide array of examples of censorship efforts you presented in your testimony shows the pervasive nature of the establishment efforts to control speech and stifle dissent. It is astonishing that 12 years ago there was bipartisan recognition in Congress of this problem while today not one Democrat acknowledged that the problem exists. Your thoughtful and balanced testimony emphasized the danger presented to everyone by the growing danger of the surveillance state that is rapidly becoming totalitarian in nature. In 2012 little was done because of the belief that the security of the U.S. was paramount. Today the fear that the established order is under assault by Trump and a populist horde caused not one question to be posed by the Democrats to anyone but their hysterical and misdirected witness. They certainly could not have assailed your testimony. It is both astonishing and demoralizing that partisan politics would blind half the Congress to a danger facing all of America. Thank you for your testimony.
