Jesus F-ing Christ! How on earth do we put a stop to this stuff? No one I’ve asked has even heard of the Twitter Files, people who consider themselves informed, yet I don’t think there’s been a bigger scoop in my lifetime (I was born in 1974, right after Watergate).
I’m involved with all kinds of groups that want to change politics but I can’t see beyond the current horrorshow that is the media landscape. I don’t see how we get from here to there without completely annihilating corporate access media.

Now that we know MSM has completely sold out to big Pharma and political interests, independent journalism is incredibly important. Keep up the good fight..and thanks for all you do!

What the everlasting evil??? Thank you, Lee, for defending Matt, specifically, and a free press generally. The snowballing of this concoted distraction into a potential prosecution is yet another example of our disgraceful, inept Congress.
Thanks for this, Lee. I’m glad you’re working on this. In Taibbi’s testimony, I was shocked, outraged and appalled by the hostility toward and general ignorance of the first amendment from the Democrats. They’ve truly become a menace to press freedom.
Second time this week that I'm glad I subscribed. A thousand thanks for your commitment to the truth and your defense of Matt. The IRS and now perjury. Unbelievable! Anyone who doesn't believe this government will harm anyone who does not conform to "the narrative" has drunk the Kool-aid.
This is so deeply ignorant, as was Plaskett's questioning of Taibbi. But now the whole thing has grown morally obscene and terrifying. I'm not on social media but I'm always ready to show up & speak up and out. This can't continue. Thank you, Lee, really truly thank you for doing your work as you do it. Plaskett's conduct during those hearings was absolutely disgraceful. She should have been kicked off the committee and out of office, instead of threatening jail time for one of the last honest reporters in America (present company excluded, of course).
You measure the skill of a golfer NOT by his/her good shots but instead by how well he/she recovers from their bad shots. A professional journalist is measured by how they handle an inaccuracy in their reporting.
Who is the professional journalist here... Medhi Hassan or Matt Taibi? The question is rhetorical.
